How It All Started
When the class began and I learned what multimodal writing was as a whole, I has no idea what to expect. When Professor Reynolds said we were going to be building a website I was slightly confused and worried because I had no prior coding experience and knew nothing about web development because I'm a Public Relations major. I was eventually relived to find out that Professor Reynolds wasn't the best at making a website but it was the first step in learning and writing in multimodal form.

This website we built was based off of www.wix.com and it was to show our classwork for the year as well as to be based off of our search for refuge project. With in the website we would be using images and information that is certified by Creative Commons which lets us students know whether or not authors of certain photographs for example want rights or credit to their specific piece.

The homepage of my specific website includes four different photos. Three of them are based off of refugee situations all round the world and then there is a picture if the library clock here at Roger Williams University. If you click on the photo directly next to this piece, it will direct you to the homepage of my website to show an example of how the start of multimodal has begun.
